Now isn't this butterfly absolutely gorgeous? The Peacock Butterfly also known as Papilio paris, is visually striking thanks to the pair of almost fluorescent green patches, further intensified by the black contrast. You can also notice that the black wings are covered with thousands of tiny green scales, the green color can remind one of the peacock feathers. I personally call the Papilio paris "Emerald Moon Butterfly" and I had to add a pair of those in one frame.

Feeding on nectar it can be found all year round in forested areas, in places such as southeast Asia and Indian subcontinent.
